Where are some good places to buy a toddler bed?
Right now I have her in one of them reversable cribs that change into a toddler bed and then a full size bed when old enough. But I decided to go ahead a change it back into a crib for my new born instead of buying a new crib. Where would be a good place to look?
Also do you think it would be cheaper to do it the way I am doing it or do you think it would be cheaper just to buy a new crib?
You don't indicate how old your child is. A two year old can be moved to a twin bed. Many parents just buy the twin bed and put the mattress on the floor until they are more confident that child won't fall out of bed. Because the floor was cold, my neighbor just sanded a piece of plywood and attached it to 4 concrete blocks, then placed the twin mattress on it. Kid never fell out so got the twin bed about 2 months later.
Many grandparents think toddler beds are just a gimmick. I think they are cute though. However, in the interests of finances, I would likely go to a twin bed and buy seperate rails or bolster.

At what age did you switch from a toddler bed to a twin size bed?
I bought a toddler bed for my daughter at Wal-mart, its very nice and sturdy and only cost $50, but you'd still need to get another mattress.

Ikea, Craigslist.com, or even ebay! Good luck I have found good deals on these websites for furniture.

well if u want a plain toddler bed with a couple of stickers on it u can go to walmart and get one for 40 dollars plus the cost of the mattress. all togeather it will be about 80 dollars or so. but i think u should just buy another bed like u have that away your kids can stay jin them a lot longer.
