What are some good toddler travel toys?

I am going on an airplane with my 18 mo. old dd. and she'll be sitting on my lap through the flights. They are not too long, about 1 1/2 hours each (of course, if she screams the whole time, it could feel like an eternity . I'm kinda nervous about her not being able to have a lot of room to roam. Any good suggestions on portables toys or activities that would keep her occupied?

I also have an 18 month old and we travel frequently.

We bring reusable stickers, Playmobil 1.2.3. figures (for imaginitive play), books and some snacks (preferably small items like dried apples that take a while to eat).

Yes! I've been there!

Magnadoodle (small variety);
Gummy bears;
Lacing cards;
Food;
Cut up sponges for small blocks (good for spills, too!);
Favorite critter/doll and blanket.

Things to avoid: HARD OBJECTS THAT CAN BE THROWN

Take lots of little toys, books etc, all wrapped up in wrapping paper, and let her unwrap one at regular intervals. Can be anything, tiny books, cars, finger puppets. I did this for my son when he was about the same age, on a 4 hour bus journey and it was great, didn't matter what the contents were really he was just excited to be unwrapping stuff and cos he didn't have all the toys at once he didn't get bored. Sorry for the lack of suggestions, I did this for a boy and we mainly had different vehicles lol! Lots of snacks is also good, raisins, cereal bars etc. However, I did all this again for my boy when he was 2 on an aeroplane, and he slept the whole way there and back, so you never know your luck!
