Infants and toddlers cannot travel, and I highly suggest NOT leaving them at home with a babysitter; my family's baby got abducted by the 'sitter and even the picture icon was gone even though she showed in family tree and in Edit Town mode. Children can travel with adults, and Teens can travel alone.
